Defining Autonumber in Microsoft SQL Server (SQLEXPRESS)

- Set the column data type to int, bigint or smallint.
- Locate the (Is Identity) field in the Column Properties window.
- Set the (Is Identity) value to be true.

thanks, I was finding it difficult for having autonumber in SQL Express. Previously I was using MS Access with the data type Autonumber but it was not present in SQLExpress. Now I have done it.
